Plot
Vinayagam (Ajith Kumar) is the eldest of five brothers who live in a village and run a tractor business. He is a fearless and loyal person who often resorts to violence to settle disputes. He hates the idea of marriage and does not want his brothers to get married either. However, his brothers secretly have girlfriends and want to marry them. They hatch a plan to make Vinayagam fall in love with a woman named Kopperundevi (Tamannaah Bhatia), who is an art student in the city. They invite her to their village and make Vinayagam believe that she is interested in him.
Meanwhile, Kopperundevi is actually the daughter of Nallasivam (Nassar), the leader of a rival clan who has a long-standing feud with Vinayagam's family. Kopperundevi is unaware of this and comes to the village with her friend Divya (Santhanam), who is also Vinayagam's cousin. Vinayagam falls in love with Kopperundevi and decides to marry her. He also agrees to let his brothers marry their girlfriends.
However, things take a turn when Nallasivam and his sons learn about Kopperundevi's relationship with Vinayagam. They plot to kill him during the marriage ceremony.
